use such as the 'price index' database is clearly explained here and on the pages for that service.

from our company unless you specifically request information about a service or product.
We as a company hate 'spam' so we don't and won't send 'spam'.
This page contains our company privacy statement which aims to show our commitment to privacy and trading within the guidelines and
laws as set out by the 'Data protection commissioners IRL'. We are not responsible for the privacy or content of other websites or
external links to other sites you may find on our pages. We cannot be held responsible for the text, images or any content found within
advertisers listed within this site. The companies that place the advertisements and the advertisers themselves can edit the content
in the listing and thus we cannot be held responsible for their content or data collection methods.
1.DEFINITIONS
“You, the Customer” a person or company buying Products from us.
“Consumer” a private person buying Products for private use.
“Conspect (us, our, we )” the Product vendor as identified on your invoice and, where relevant, Service Provider and owner of the website.

“3rd Party Products and advertisements” all goods and advertisements that are not sold by conspect but are placed on our pages by other 3 party companies.
2. GENERAL:
We wil not collect any personal information about you on this website without your clear permission. Any personal information which
you volunteer to Conspect.ie will be treated with complete confidentiality and the highest standard of security available to us in
accordance with the 'Data Protection Acts, 1988 & 2003 IRL'.
3. COLLECTION AND USE OF YOUR INFORMATION
We do not collect or retain any personal data as you visit or browse our website. Apart from / other than 'cookies' that your IP. address
leaves to help us with demographics (no. of visitors to the site etc.)- cookies are explained futher below. And the information you willingly
volunteer to us in our on line order-forms or contact email pages when you request a service or details of our products &services.
You will be notified on these pages that you are sending us the
information and that it will not be made available to any third parties. The personal data you send to us will be used only in line
with the purpose for which you provided it.
4. 3RD PARTIES
Conspect.ie will use reasonable efforts to prevent the disclosure or use of your personal information. We will not sell, share,
or rent your information in any way. Your personal information is stored and used by us in the manner disclosed in this statement. Information (company name, address, service
offered ) given to us by you about the contractors that have quoted or estimated a job on your property will only be subject to
checks on the claims made and details given in that quote. All previous history good or bad and any other information that exists
about the trades or companies contained in the quotes or detailed in one or other of the services offered by Conspect is available
in the public domain.
Information stored in our price index on a quote given to you and forwarded to us to review is always referenced and stored by a street
name and job information.
No where in our price index database (or at any time) are the following customers personal details stored :-
Name(first or last name), House number or phone number.
The only information we will store takes the format as detailed in the example below:

This is the format the information will be entered in to the database.
The name of the road or estate is stored to enable us to reference the house type when a future customer wants a quote reviewed.
The name of the area the job took place is to gauge how far the contractor travels to complete the work.
The month and year is to adjust for inflation on materials and costs the contractor is subject to.
The work detail is the basic information we need to compare future quotes and estimates without cluttering up our data storage with
irelevant info.
It is permanently stored to enable us to build our price index database to review other quotes given in the future to customers for
value etc.
This information is not available to 3 parties at any time.
5. USE FOR THE INFORMATION
During registration you are required to give contact information (such as your name and/or email address). This information is used
to provide the services that you have requested, or to contact you about the service on our site for which you have expressed
interest. We may contact you from time to time with news as well as marketing and promotional information. We may also use the
information to provide you with information we believe may be useful to you.
6. METHODS OF COLLECTION
[A] - Your input, in the order form pages and contact email page you enter your information for us to forward you details for the service
or to complete the service itself.
[B] - Cookies, we use "cookie" technology on our web site. A cookie is a small text file containing a unique identification
number that is transferred from a web site to the hard drive of your computer so that the site administrator may identify your
computer and passively track its activities on the web site. This unique number identifies your web browser to our computer system
whenever you visit our site. We may place a "cookie" in the browser file of your computer, however the "cookie" itself does not
contain any personally identifying information about you. The "cookie" does not track your personal information or provide us with
any way to contact you, and the "cookie" does not extract any information off your computer. This is standard web practice and does
not infringe on your rights under the data laws.
Conspect.ie will make no attempt to identify individual visitors, persons, companies or society/ organization.
We will not associate the technical details listed above and below with any individual.
It is our policy never to disclose such technical information in respect of individual website visitors to any third
party (apart from our Internet service provider, which records such data on our behalf and which is bound by confidentiality
provisions in this regard), unless we are obliged to disclose such information by a rule of law. The technical information will be used
only by Conspect.ie for statistical and other administrative purposes.
The exact technical information collected is as follows:
- IP. address of the visitor's web server
- Top level domain name used ( .ie or .com, etc. )
- The previous address from which the site vistior reached us
- Search terms used to find us if directed to the site from a search engine
- Clickstream data - traffic and route of visitors around the site ( pages accessed and files downloaded. )
- Type of web browser used to view the sites pages ( MS Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, etc. )
You should note that technical details, which we cannot
associate with any identifiable individual, do not constitute "personal data" for the purposes
of the Data Protection Acts, 1988 & 2003.
7. SECURITY
This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control.
Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect
your personal information, conspect.ie cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or from our on
line products or services, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we have secure storage (password protected)
and a firewall on our intranet. We have other procedures to ensure the security of customers personal information on our systems and access
is restricted to key staff in our employ only.
Currently we only accept payment through cheque, postal order, bank draft -Our credit / laser card payments will be
handled by our online payment partners who have seperate inforamtion transfer procedures such as
SSL - Secure Socket Layer, the details of which are available to you as you proceed through the links as you enter the credit card
payment pages on their site. We will notify you on the site when this payment method is in operation
The current payment methods (by cheque or postal order /Bank draft )are through the postal system and are subject to normal banking procedures
etc. - No cash payments in the post - if you cannot make payment by cheque etc. mention this when ordering and we will facilitate you in some other way.
8. RELEVANCE, ACCURACY AND CONTACT
All information fields required are solely for the purpose of providing the service detailed and no other purpose.
The information stored during the period that you have hired conspect to provide you with a service or product can be updated at any
time to keep it current with changes ( such as phone no.'s and changes in address etc. ).
